Well hello there!
Oh brother, I haven't really done shit lul. I don't know if its just my head space, or the weather or just like a weird time in my life. My head is just not in the game. Its not like I have an artistic block, I have loads of ideas, just can't be fucked to sit and work. I just make these lists and notes that pile up and it bumms me the fuck out looking at all these cool ideas and I just cant do them. I've been sleeping during the day for months, and at night too lol i got like 6hrs of awake time and then I'm toast, so sleepy with no energy. It sucks fr man. I feel like every other day too I hear of other artists in this space "retire" and quit. Sucks.
But on a lighter note, when I do manage to stay awake longer than a few hours I've been playing Magic like mad. I have even been going to my local games stores and playing with other non-social losers like me haha its been a nice change in scenery, but soooooo expensive lulululul. But dang life has been so meh. And its not like everyone is flush with extra money these days so my slowing down models and stuff probably isn't the worst thing lul.
Sorry if these posts are cringe also, I figure if ppl wanted to get to know me a bit these would be cute, but its turned into a bit of vent slop.
But here is a list of updates fr:
- Published a new version of the skull cat, it didn't do crazy numbers but I'm happy with it
- Submitted a Spookality 2025 model, called the Obscura, I didn't place but ppl really liked it so i tossed it up on the avatar marketplace and it was done pretty well there. I don't think I'll ever win a contest I enter haha
- I made 2 worlds, one was a test for like avatar stuff but I kind of broke it a bit, and the other was a cringe one for degens of a variety lol I took both down. The test one I learned a lot, and the degen one was really popular (for me) for like a few weeks but with adult groups getting banned and stuff I took it down just in case, it is adult themed but, idk lol I actually uploaded it to sketchfab for ppl to see, if i can link it it will be linked below
- Still working on the phat cat idea, its kind of turned into more of a girl failure model then anything, close to my heart fr lul but i cant nail down exactly what I want the whole thing to be, its the hardest part modeling is easy but then what clothes, what hair, what textures, what's the advertising going to look like. Stressful fr
- I put out a muzzle for the Tigerbee (sold like 3 copies ;-; ), and I'm doing another for the Biscotti. I maybe should have started with a popular model, not saying that the Tigerbee isn't but ppl don't put clothes on the damn thing so like wtf was I thinking lul anyways
This year I wanna focus on giving new life to old models, re-doing them, turning the kitbashed ones to fully scratch maybe, idk. My community is awesome, I am just the slowest worker fr.
